Okay, to be clear, it’s very possible that when you create your Amazon Affiliate Account that they do, in fact, tell you you must drive a certain amount of traffic to their site through your links or else your account will be suspended/closed. But, personally, the Amazon Associates quota caught me by surprise.

In the vast realm of affiliate marketing, Amazon’s Affiliate Program, also known as Amazon Associates, has gained immense popularity. It allows individuals and businesses to earn a commission by promoting Amazon products and driving sales through personalized affiliate links. My YouTube channel had like 1 subscriber and maybe 20 views, so it’s no surprise I failed to meet my Amazon Associates traffic quota.

In other words, kids, you can’t just throw up Amazon Affiliate links on your YouTube or blog and just hope one day people find them. Build an audience first, then worry about affiliate links, sponsors, etc. If you can’t meet your Amazon Associates quota, you’re gonna get shut down.
